Welcome To Move Remote
“Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.” We aspire to make a change, share our journey, change people’s perspectives. We are the wanderers of today, We leap into adventure never looking back and barley looking forward more consumed with now. Follow us as we venture across the country, be a part of our journey as we Move Remote.
Move Remote is a blog/ vlog that we started this year (2019) and has been in the planning stages for about a year and a half. As a creative couple we truly strive to have a different outlook on all of our surroundings. For example the way we live, we have been together for almost 4 years and thought we could get a home and lay down some roots. Which isn’t a bad thing by any means, but didn’t sound like the road we wanted to take. We wanted a little more adventure, something unstructured and off the beaten path. So we bought a travel trailer, something small that we could pull with our SUV.
We pull our 19ft Jayco hummingbird with our Toyota 4Runner. 19ft??? You’re propably thinking, “You guys must be on top of one another.” Not really, the small space is just enough for the two of us to function comfortably. Plus the whole point of living this way is to be outside! The small space pushes us to get outdoors and live a healthier, more active life.
Living in a travel trailer is also a cheaper way of life! We save money on things like: rent, gas, water, electricity, cable, home owners or renters insurance. We can also get amazing views, live right on the beach for a fraction of the cost it would be to have a home there. And when we’re done with the beach and want something more in the city or the mountains, we just pick up and leave 🙂
How is it living that close together ALL THE TIME? To be honest living in small places with your significant other really tests your relationship. It makes you talk through your disagreements because there is nowhere else to go. Setting up a trailer and campsite takes teamwork and builds communication. Trust me you really know if you love someone when you back up a trailer together lol.
We are excited for our new adventures! The experiences of new cultures, cuisines, different people and their stories are what we hope everyone can explore. Always remember that the earth is your playground and you can go wherever you want, No limits! We want everyone to experience freedom in the sense of not being tied anywhere by any job or people. We have decided to share our story so that others can be inspired to live out there dreams. It doesn’t have to be in an RV but as long as it’s something you’ve always wanted to do, you just go for it!
